Udupi: Man held for faking email ID in the name of Abdul KalamUdupi May 26:The police arrested a man on the charge of creating a fake email ID in the name of the former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and forging his signature, at Kodavoor village near Udupi on Sunday.A police press release on Monday said the State Intelligence Office had informed the Udupi district police that Niranjan Chidanand Bhat, a resident of Moodabettu in Kodavoor village near Udupi, had created an email ID,apj_abdul_kalam@in.com.The accused had created forged documents and corresponded with institutions abroad using the email ID.The Udupi police raided the house of the accused and seized the forged documents and a seal. A case has been registered at the Malpe police station. Investigations are on, the release added.www.mangalorean.com
